Emma C. Wetherbee
Emma is a visual artist who primarily works in oil paint as well as multimedia pieces combining pencil, ink, and watercolor. She finds endless inspiration in nature and is constantly seeking long golden-hour light. Her recent works have drawn inspiration from hoodoo rock formations in Bryce Canyon, The Grand Canyon and specimens from local rock shops as well as gem and mineral shows. Past collections include cosmic figures in surreal galactic landscapes.
Her past shows include a four-year solo retrospective at Earlham College as well as the opening at Petals and Pages in Denver.
