Lakewood Arts (LAC) “Adopt-a-School” for September, 2025: Student Solo Art Exhibit by Harsha Ayalur
Lakewood Arts displays student artwork throughout the year on its Spotlight Wall (free for students and non-profit groups). This month we are displaying art created by an 8th grader from Logan School for Creative Learning – Harsha Ayalur!
Harsha Ayalur is a middle school student and lifelong artist. His latest show, Bloom In Ink, focuses on saturated botanicals that strike a balance between softness and detail.
Bloom In Ink explores a new medium for Harsha, alcohol markers and pencil on paper and vellum. As he has not explored color much in the past, he has enjoyed the amount of expression and life that they bring into the picture.
Harsha is grateful to his family and art teachers for all of their support and guidance throughout making these pieces, and to Lakewood Arts Gallery for the opportunity to showcase his work.
We’re looking for a schools to “adopt” for the coming year. Please refer any school you know of that needs assistance. In addition to providing space for teachers to exhibit student artwork, we may also assist with art supplies, special events, or may be able to assist your class with a “guest artist teacher.” If you are a teacher interested in participating in our “Adopt-a-School” program, please contact us at lakewoodarts.education@gmail.
