General Call for Art Guidelines - Unless specified on the individual art shows listed below.
Eligibility: Open to all Colorado artists
Media: Any 2-D or 3-D fine art media, including photography, digital art, clay, glass, jewelry, etc. All work must be original (no prints).
Entries:
Each artist may submit up to three (3) works.
No substitutions of artwork after registration.
Work must not have been shown previously in a Lakewood Arts exhibition.
Size: Maximum size 30” wide
Fees: (Fees are non-refundable.)
Non-Member: $15 each or up to 3 works for $40
LAC Member: $10 each or up to 3 works for $25 (must be a current member)
How to Submit Entries:
Complete registration and pay the entry fee – Register online, in the gallery or by mail to the gallery.
Registration must be RECEIVED by the deadline.
Include the following information with each picture - name, title, medium, size, and price.
Submit Digital Images (Entries) for inclusion in the show’s website virtual gallery:
Email entries to Emi Burr at ekburrdesign@gmail.com by registration deadline.
Subject: “Title of The Show”. Include: Artist name, title, medium, size, and price for each piece.

Specifications:
Works must be dry, framed, or have wrapped, painted edges with staples visible only on the back.
Wall-hung work must be ready for hanging with screw-eyes or D-rings and wire (no saw tooth or clip hangers).
Entries with broken glass, chipped frames, or non-functional wires will not be accepted.
Works must be identified on the back (or bottom if 3-D) with the artist’s name, phone number, and title of work.
Awards: 1st place: $100, 2nd place: $75, 3rd place: $50, Up to 3 Honorable Mentions: (Based on number of entrants)
Sales:
Works must be for sale.
Artists will be notified of any sales at the end of the show.
A 25% commission will be charged on each work sold.
Sold items may be picked up by the purchaser after the end of the show.
Sales will be handled by Lakewood Arts.
Checks will be sent approximately 2 weeks following month end after the closing date of the show.

Mountainside Art Guild Annual Miniature Show
TWENTY-SECOND ANNUAL EXHIBIT AND SALE
Total image area of painting shall not exceed 36 square inches (6”x 6” / 5”x 7” or smaller). Outside frame size not to exceed 120 square inches. All works must be delivered framed and ready to hang. Wrapped canvas will be accepted without a frame if edges are painted and clean. Each piece must be identified on the back with artist name, address, phone number, title, price and medium. Frames must be undamaged, with hardware and wire in place. NO sawtooth hangers. Paintings delivered chipped, cracked, damaged, dirty or with improper presentation or incomplete information on the back will not be accepted. After registration, please email images of submitted work to dkurtak@gmail.com for inclusion in the Virtual Gallery on both MAG and Lakewood Arts websites. If you are unable to provide images by email, we will try to take photos at the gallery.

THEME: This exhibition celebrates Pride Month and invites artists to explore themes of LGBTQ+ identity, community, visibility, history, resilience, and joy. Artists are encouraged to interpret “Pride” broadly through personal narratives, cultural expression, activism, relationships, or reflections on equality and inclusion. Work may be celebratory, political, introspective, or experimental. All perspectives and styles are welcome, including pieces that challenge norms, uplift marginalized voices, or honor the ongoing struggle for LGBTQ+ rights.
MEDIA: All media are accepted, including but not limited to:
Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor, encaustic)
Drawing (charcoal, graphite, ink, pastel)
Mixed media
Collage
Fiber art
Sculpture (wall-mounted or freestanding)
Jewelry and wearable art (must be presented as a display or installation)
Digital art
Digital works are accepted if they are original and integral to the artist’s practice. Reproductions (including giclée prints or prints of original artwork) are not accepted.

🌳 Acorn Gallery – Art Groups
$300/month
59.25 linear feet: 11 double-sided panels + 1 wall.
Includes an 18 ft x 5 ft wall space.
Area can display both 2D & 3D work, with adjustable shelves and space to add additional pedestals.
LAC keeps a 25% commission on each sale.
